The Old ChristmasTree

Everybody was shivering due the chilled atmosphere. The air was piercing when you drive your mobikes. People were having loads of woolen layers on them. It is very hard to roam in the market streets in the late nights but I can see that children, youngsters and elders out there in each shop. Oh! It's Christmas season and everybody is busy in buying things. The shopkeeper is managing the customers very efficiently. The ladies are asking for confetti, balloons and lots of things to decorate their house. Young kids are roaming around the garments shop to choose the best outfits for this Christmas. This excitement and the charm I was enjoying during every Christmas season but this time I was missing all those fun which we use to have with our friends during the season. Those rounds of carols from houses to houses with the Youth Fellowship and the choir practices behind the vestry.

But this time I was happy as I will be having the surprise. Well, I reached the station and saw that my father was there to pick me up. His face was blushing with the happiness. He came and gave me the warm hug. Then we moved for the house. It was great to see the city sparkling with lights and people cherishing all around. After driving couple of miles we reached to our house. My mother was surprised to see me. She was very much happy and I can say that because those tiny drops of tears were shining in the moonlight.

When I stepped into the house I was surprised to see that old Christmas tree which I use to decorate every Christmas and this time my father decorated that tree. The bells, stars, cherry balls were hanging and it was looking very beautiful. I was staring at that magnificent view. My father told me that they were waiting for me to come but as this was not clear that I would be celebrating this Christmas with them so they decorated.

The Christmas celebration and sharing the joy with my family and friends at the native was just possible due to my seniors and colleagues. I'm thankful to all of you for your generous cooperation.
